Obviously it won't appear until the next set of accounts and I just wondered?

I take it they're not offering us season ticket holders a "free" Premiership ticket for next season!! Though a "reduced" League One ticket would help! Our matchday ticket prices are good, I just wish they would offer season ticket holders a better deal.

With the Club's finances restricted for the forseeable future, I reckon they should bring back the 5 year season ticket, which would help give the Club the extra revenue and a commitment from the supporter. I'd certainly be up for one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-72311000486362945542009-01-29T09:28:00.000+00:002009-01-29T09:28:00.000+00:00Great Post KHA made me feel a lot better this morn...Great Post KHA made me feel a lot better this morning. And when you hear the Director's side you start to appreciate why certain decisions have been taken.

I suppose the adjustment to relegation has been hard on nearly all those who jhave gone through it - we've suffered more than most due to Pardew's (surprising)shortcomings.

Interesting to hear about Dickson's inability to follow instructions - remember Gary Nelson'ds book saying this was the big difference between top flight and lower division footballers.

But if Andy Gray is all we have left, I wonder what has happened to Todorov..

I'd echo Compo, and feel a lot happier. May be a little more exposure by the Directors would still our beating hearts.

Pembury AddickAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-49344933459823765962009-01-29T00:48:00.000+00:002009-01-29T00:48:00.000+00:00I echo Ketts, KHA . A great summary ( I think ! ) of what transpired today .

I may be easily pleased as well as having little understanding of financial matters such as these but , like yourself, I feel a lot happier tonight after reading your piece. I too have tried to keep faith with the Directors and hopefully that faith is to be repaid..

I only wish some of those numpties from Your Views would read this. A large dose of realism should be physically forced down their throats ( like the syrup of figs of my childhhood ...Esther ! Where were you in those days?)

COYAAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-70158498484204170942009-01-28T22:28:00.000+00:002009-01-28T22:28:00.000+00:00Thanks for that KHA,interesting stuff. Thanks for that KHA,interesting stuff.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-15203610831818220332009-01-28T22:14:00.000+00:002009-01-28T22:14:00.000+00:00I also remember that as we floundered along under ...I also remember that as we floundered along under Uncle Les. Pardew was sacked by Wet Spam and was unemployed for several weeks. During which time, Peter Varney stated Les Reed would not be sacked.
So the story that Charlton were straight in for Pards is also ballcocks.
Then again, what the hell now. It was all a chuffin' disaster.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-15019355388787592632009-01-28T19:36:00.000+00:002009-01-28T19:36:00.000+00:00Thanks Daggs,What's a Phil/Derek between friends?A...Thanks Daggs,

What's a Phil/Derek between friends?

As for the Les Reed contract? I thought he signed a three year deal in the summer then in the November when Dowie left they publicised that fact that he had a three year contract.

It is believable, well technically possible, that it happened like they now say. After all if you want the players to respect the caretaker manager you need to make them think he is permanent.

I do take your point though, it is very convenient for the recent account of events to be the case as it saves a lot of people a lot of face.Kings Hill Addickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08523787530053799457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6519968491157736669.post-32930828968587118752009-01-28T19:15:00.000+00:002009-01-28T19:15:00.000+00:00Cripes KHA there's a lot there! Doesn't really sound like he was appointed to prove himself does it? I have a lot of sympathy for Les. He was a Charlton man, and they dropped him in it!
As for Phil Chappell commenting on the possibility of administration and other legalities. Shouldn't he be at training? and leave Derek to comment on those!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
